The SmartHealth Norwin Hills Outpatient Center is located at the Norwin Hills Plaza in North Huntingdon. The center offers a broad spectrum of rehabilitative and surgical services, diagnostic imaging and health education to people living in North Huntingdon Township and surrounding areas.

Diagnostic services include routine radiology, mammography, and ultrasound; along with a blood draw station. Hours of operation for routine radiology and blood draw station include Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Blood draw Saturday hours 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mammography, echocardiogram and ultrasound are by appointment only. Comprehensive rehabilitation therapies are offered, including physical, occupational and speech therapy and a cardiac rehabilitation wellness program. Appointments for initial evaluations must be made by calling the Mercy Jeannette Hospital Centralized Scheduling Department at 724/527-9100. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional hours are available by appointment.

For the first time, area residents have a surgical facility with full operating rooms and full anesthesia services, including GI procedures. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Numerous educational programs are available at the facility offered in various size classrooms.

The surgery center and the health center combine to make this facility the largest of its type in the area. For additional information on the center, please call 724/861-4106.
